By: Tom Maguire, Beat Writer Bates Women’s Lacrosse Lacrosse is Awesome The 13th ranked Bates Bobcats held off the 12th ranked surging Hamilton Continentals 8-7 in another tightly contested NESCAC match in Lewiston ME.  The Bobcats overall record stands at 9-1 (4-1 NESCAC) making this the best start for the women’s lacrosse program in 24 seasons. Bates Bobcats Roll Past Williams 3/26/16

By: Tom Maguire, Beat Writer Bates College The #13 ranked Bates Bobcats women’s lacrosse team pushed past Williams 14-5 today in Williamstown MA in a NESCAC matchup. With the game level at 2-2 after 15 minutes of play, the Bobcats settled themselves to a 4-2 halftime lead and outscored Williams 10-3 in the second half helped by limiting their turnovers and taking a 9-5 draw control advantage.

By: Tom Maguire, Beat Writer Bates College Women’s Lacrosse On a spring like day in Lewiston Maine, the Bates Bobcats Women’s Lacrosse team won a thrilling 8-7 game against the No. 9 ranked NESCAC opponent Amherst College.  The victory raised the Bobcats record to 5-0, their best start since the 2001 season.  The Bobcats are currently 2-0 in the NESCAC.
