The Pioneers enter the second to last week in the regular season at No. 4 in the RPI
DENVER – The University of Denver men’s lacrosse program moved up a spot in the coaches’ poll for the third-straight week up to No. 6, while bumping up three spots in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll to No. 7 heading into a match-up at Providence (2-1 in BIG EAST) this weekend.
The Pioneers are coming off a 10-8 win against No. 6 Georgetown in-front of a sellout crowd at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Denver’s victory was its third against the No. 6 team in the USILA poll this season, with all three requiring fourth-quarter comebacks.
Denver enters the second to last week of the regular season at No. 4 in the RPI behind Notre Dame, Duke and Johns Hopkins.
