ROSEMONT, IL – Johns Hopkins sophomore attackman Shane Stanwick (Baltimore, MD/Boys’ Latin) and sophomore faceoff specialist Hunter Moreland (White Hall, MD/Boys’ Latin) have been named the Big Ten Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and Co-Specialist of the Week, respectively, for their efforts in Johns Hopkins’ 14-8 win against sixth-ranked Towson on Saturday. Johns Hopkins improved to 3-2 on the year with the victory against the Tigers.

Tigers Remain in Top 10 in All Three Polls 3/14/16

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men’s lacrosse team continued with a top-10 ranking for a second-straight week. All three major polls were released Monday after an action-packed weekend.   Denver was the unanimous number one team in the country this week after upending this week’s second-ranked team, Notre Dame, 9-8 in overtime. Syracuse was voted third, followed by Ivy Leaguers Yale and Brown at fourth and fifth, respectively.

By: Tom Maguire, Beat Writer Bates College Women’s Lacrosse On a spring like day in Lewiston Maine, the Bates Bobcats Women’s Lacrosse team won a thrilling 8-7 game against the No. 9 ranked NESCAC opponent Amherst College.  The victory raised the Bobcats record to 5-0, their best start since the 2001 season.  The Bobcats are currently 2-0 in the NESCAC.
