The PLL is heading into Week 5 and we’re in Boston where the Cannons (3-1) will be at home hosting this weekends festivities. They’ll have a double-header starting tomorrow July 5, 2024, when they will play host to the winless California Redwoods (0-3) who are beyond frustrated and want their first win of the season. Will they take town the second place Cannons on their home turf or will Boston who will be without Rookie sensation Pat Kavanagh for the second straight weekend bring last weekend’s momentum into the contest and fire away at the Redwoods?
To cap off Friday night, we’ve got the conference leaders facing off as the New York Atlas (4-1) will play host to the Denver Outlaws (2-1). New York suffered their first loss of the season last weekend against the Dogs, so they are itching to redeem themselves. But Denver is hot, so it won’t be easy.
Moving onto Saturday July 6, 2024, and the Maryland Whipsnakes (2-2) who took down the mighty Atlas last weekend, will play host to the 2023 PLL Champs the Utah Archers (2-2). The Archers haven’t been looking much like the reigning champs so far this season so can they fire back after their loss last week or will the Whips still be hot after defeating New York last weekend.
The weekend will be capped off with the Philadelphia Waterdogs (1-3) going up against the Cannons. The Dogs just came off one heck of a win over the Carolina Chaos (2-3) who have this weekend off and they’re looking to send the Cannons to the “Dog House” for their second win of the season.
All games will be televised on ESPN+ with the weekend finale’ Waterdogs vs. Cannons also being simulcast on ESPN2.
After this weekends games, the teams will head to the All Star Game on Saturday July 13, 2024 with the “All Star Skills” up first and the All Star Game set to begin at 3:00 p.m. EST.
