WASHINGTON – Three Georgetown University men’s lacrosse players earned BIG EAST weekly honors, as announced by the league office on Monday. James Ball was selected as Specialist of the Week while Aidan Carroll and Dylan Hess earned spots on the Weekly Honor Roll following a 14-8 win on the road at High Point.

Ball dominated faceoffs with a 17-for-23 (.739) performance against the Panthers. He added nine ground balls in the win, tying his career high.

Carroll continued his impressive offensive pace, leading the Hoyas with a career-high four goals against HPU to go with four ground balls. Georgetown outscored the Panthers 8-0 down the stretch, including 6-0 in the fourth quarter. Carroll has posted at least three goals in four games this season.

Hess helped the Blue & Gray to yet another impressive defensive performance, holding Georgetown’s fourth-straight opponent to 10 goals or fewer on the year. He was credited with two caused turnovers and three ground balls as the Hoyas held their hosts scoreless for the final 25:57 of the game.
