WASHINGTON – Coming off a two-week hiatus, the No. 10 Georgetown University men’s lacrosse team hosts Dartmouth to the Nation’s Capital on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The Hoyas are riding a four-game winning streak and take on the Big Green for the first time since 2013.

About Georgetown
- The Hoyas (4-2) defeated High Point 14-8 on March 5 in their last time out, outscoring the Panthers 8-0 down the stretch and holding their hosts scoreless in the fourth quarter.
- For their efforts, James Ball was named the BIG EAST Specialist of the Week while Aidan Carroll and Dylan Hess earned spots on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
- Ball dominated faceoffs with a 17-for-23 (.739) performance against the Panthers. He added nine ground balls in the win, tying his career high.
- Carroll continued his impressive offensive pace, leading the Hoyas with a career-high four goals against HPU to go with four ground balls. He has posted at least three goals in four games this season.
- Hess helped the Blue & Gray to yet another impressive defensive performance, holding Georgetown’s fourth-straight opponent to 10 goals or fewer on the year. He was credited with two caused turnovers and three ground balls as the Hoyas held High Point scoreless for the final 25:57 of the game.
- On the season, TJ Haley leads the Hoyas in scoring with 23 points (4G, 19A) while Carroll has 18 (15G, 3A) and Graham Bundy Jr. adds 17 (12G, 5A) points. Alexander Vardaro has 12 points (9G, 3A) and Jordan Wray adds 11 (10G, 1A) to round out the players in double figures.
- At the ‘X’, Ball has won 70 of 114 (.614) faceoffs and collected 37 ground balls in six games this season.
- Defensively, the Blue & Gray have held their opponents to 10 goals or less in each of the past four games.
- Wallace Halpert has been credited with seven caused turnovers while Hess has five. Ty Banks, Wesley Chairs and Carroll each have three.
- In goal, Moore has a 9.99 goals-against average to go with a .508 save percentage and 62 saves.
Scouting Dartmouth
- The Big Green are 3-3 to start the season with wins over Holy Cross, Siena and coming off an 11-10 win on the road at Vermont on Thursday.
- Colin McGill leads the Big Green with 20 points (17G, 3A) while Peter Lapina and Hopper Zappitello both chip in 14 (5G, 9A).
- Defensively, Andrew Johnston has been credited with nine caused turnovers while three others have seven.
- In goal, Mason Morel started his first game of the year against Vermont. He has a 9.64 GAA to go with 24 saves and a .522 save percentage in three games this season.
- On faceoffs, Mitchell Myers has taken the lion’s share of the attempts and has won 74 of 126 (.586) to go with 41 ground balls.
Series History
- Georgetown and Dartmouth will meet for just the seventh time on Tuesday and are tied 3-3 in the series.
- The Hoyas have won the past three meetings, including a 10-9 victory at the Patriot Cup in Dallas, Texas in Head Coach Kevin Warne‘s first year at Georgetown in 2013.
- All three Dartmouth wins came in the 1980’s.
