Player Interviews

The NLL Combine at the TRAC wraps up a series of player identification events that also had stops in Denver, CO in July and Philadelphia, PA last week.

“The Combines are essential for our teams to identify talent and complete their rosters through the entry draft,” said VP Lacrosse Operations, Brian Lemon. “Continuing to reach different locations across the continent enables more players to gain exposure and broadens the talent pool for our teams.”

The NLL Combines provide an opportunity for players to get noticed that might not have the eyes of NLL Coaches and General Managers focused on them regularly.  One such player is Rachel Vallarelli, a goaltender from Hartsdale, NY.  Vallarelli participated in last weekend’s US Elite Combine in Philadelphia and she will travel north to Ontario this weekend to once again compete alongside prospects looking for a shot in the pros.  You can learn more about Vallarelli’s path to the NLL Combines here.

The NLL calendar remains busy into next week.  The NLL Draft takes place on Tuesday evening in Philadelphia, PA.  Fans can watch on Bleacher Report Live beginning at 6:30pm ET.  The Rock have six picks in the six round draft including the 1st Round, 15th Overall selection.
