DENVER — The Denver Outlaws selected seven players in the 2019 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft held Saturday in Charlotte, N.C. Denver selected Sacred Heart University midfielder and Colorado native Max Tuttle with its first selection (sixth overall).
Tuttle, a graduate of Castle View High School in Castle Rock, Colo., earned honorable mention All-America honors in 2018 and has scored 21 goals through seven games in 2019.
“Max Tuttle is a premier talent and we’re thrilled that he was available at No. 6,” General Manager Jon Cohen said. “He’s one of the most athletic midfielders in all of lacrosse, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to our team.”
