Denver senior faceoff specialist named Denver’s third finalist in the last two years for prestigious award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (DU/Senior CLASS) – Senior faceoff specialist Trevor Baptiste (Denville, N.J.) has been named a finalist for the 2018 Senior CLASS Award, the organization announced on Thursday. Fans are encouraged to vote for Baptiste now through May 14th by clicking here.

Baptiste is one of 10 student-athletes who were tabbed finalists for excelling both on and off the field. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be classified as NCAA Division I seniors and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.

An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their athletic platforms to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
