Lacrosse is Awesome
We went one-on-one with Drew Lazar, one of the squad for the Ft. Collins Mile High Stars in the Regional Box Lacrosse League. This is the first Semi-Pro Box Men’s Lacrosse league ever in the state of Colorado. The other team in the league are the Parker Rangers.
The game was hard hitting, a back and forth battle throughout. The Parker Rangers would win the game by the score of 8-7. Although the Mile High Stars were awarded a penalty shot due to an illegal cross check with less than two seconds remaining on the clock, one of the best shooters couldn’t get the ball past the net-minder for the Rangers.
Today, the two teams with meet in Parker on the Rangers home turf. Will the Mile High Stars avenge the home-opener on their turf in Parker on the Rangers turf? We shall see. Stay tuned for our Week One vs. Week Two article coming soon.
