PHILADELPHIA WINGS PARTNER WITH NBC SPORTS PHILADELPHIA TO LOCALLY AIR NINE GAMES DURING 2019-20 NATIONAL LACROSSE LEAGUE SEASON

The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League today announced a partnership with NBC Sports Philadelphia where the network will air nine games locally during the 2019-20 season, including the home opener on Friday, January 10, when the Wings host the Vancouver Warriors at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m.

Brian Smith will call the play by play with former Wings Captain Scott Gabrielsen handling analysis and Devan Kaney reporting form the sidelines.

The Wings 2019-20 roster is highlighted by Philadelphia-native Matt Rambo, an NLL All-Rookie selection and nominee for Lacrosse Player of the Year (US Lacrosse magazine), and Trevor Baptiste, who broke the NLL’s face-off record with 362 wins and was also named to the NLL All-Rookie team, Captain Kiel Matisz, forward Josh Currier, and point leader Kevin Crowley. Brett Hickey, the 2019 number one expansion draft pick and offensive leader, is expected to play this year after missing last season due to injury.
