Calgary, AB – The Calgary Roughnecks have re-signed defence/transition player Zach Currier to a two-year contract.
Currier, 25, is entering his third season in the NLL, all with the Roughnecks. He joined the franchise in the 2017 NLL Entry Draft after being selected by Calgary in the first round, third overall. The Peterborough, Ontario product has been named to the All-Pro Second Team on two occasions (2018 and 2019) and was also named to the 2018 All-Rookie Team. Currier has recorded 44 points (15g, 29a) in 36 games with the Roughnecks while scooping up 399 loose balls and causing 67 turnovers.
