Lacrosse is Awesome
In looking at the 2016 season and who the Cannons have already signed, it’s fairly obvious who will be protected in the upcoming 23 man protected roster that will be announced on Friday September 30, 2016. How many of these players will actually make the final cut once the season begins…who know, but we do know who they’ve locked in for 2017 in the hopes that the Cannons will have a successful season in 2017.
No real surprises here in Boston. Will Manny, 
Captain of the Cannons signed for two years. Max Seibald; Tyler Fiorito; Mitch Belisle; as well as Coach Sean Quirk were signed for 2017. Brent Adams has asked for reassignment. The same basic core team should be returning and Coach Quirk hopes to utilize their experience and camaraderie as a team to get to the playoffs in 2017.

In my opinion, I don’t see many changes in the 2017 roster, but time will tell as the 23 man protected rosters are announced on Friday September 30, 2016.
