In front of a home crowd of just over thirteen thousand fans, the big green machine Saskatchewan Rush (9-3) win back to back against the Toronto Rock (3-9) this past weekend. Final Score: Rush 13—Rock 8.
Early in this game the Rock lose Brett Hickey (#11) to an upper body injury, leaving the team with only a couple of right handed offensive players.

Similar to the first quarter it was Saskatchewan to a point on the board, the Rock responded goal for goal as they sat tied at four as time was running out in the second quarter. Toronto’s Stephen Leblanc (#17) went end to end virtually untouched to put it past Rush keeper Aaron Bold (#77) with less than one second on the clock. Leading into the half the Rock were up 5-4.
Giving Toronto the lead into the third quarter Turner Evans (#15) scores his second of the game to make the score 6-4. From here it was all Saskatchewan as they score six straight goals to lead 10-6 after three quarters.
Just over four minutes into the fourth quarter the Rush would continue the scoring drive making it eight straight unanswered goals to end this game 13-8 for the Rush.
