[1/1] Denver (6-0) plays its lone home game in a span of five of six away from Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on Saturday when the Pioneers welcome [RV/RV] Ohio State to the Mile High City for a rematch of the 2015 NCAA Quarterfinals at Sports Authority Field.

NOTES

  • The Pioneers improved their winning-streak to 19 games on Sunday, winning their final 13 of the 2015 season en route to the program’s first National Championship (last loss 3/14/15 at Ohio State).
  • Denver is now 44-9 as a top-5 team since turning Division I, including 8-2 as the No. 1 team in the USILA Coaches’ Poll.
  • Head coach Bill Tierney (seventh season) is now 89-25 at DU and 361-118 in his career (32ndseason).
  • Zach Miller extended his consecutive-game point streak to 43 games (entered this weekend 2ndin the nation). Miller has 135 points (75G-60A) during that stretch. Miller has had a point in every collegiate game he has played in (missed one game in 2014).
  • Connor Cannizzaro extended his consecutive-game point streak to 31 games (entered the weekend 8th in the nation). Cannizzaro has 130 points (83G-47A) in that stretch.
  • Cannizzaro also extended his consecutive-game goal streak to 31 games (entered the weekend first in the country). Cannizzaro has 83 goals in that stretch.
  • Sophomore Trevor Baptiste has double-digit faceoff wins in all 25 games of his collegiate career.
  • Sophomore Brendan Bomberry leads the country with eight man-up goals in 2016.
